DESCRIPTION:The Capel Military Show brings you a selection of military displays\, reenactments & militaria stalls.\nNow in its 10th year of operation Capel Military Show is preparing to go more action packed and better than ever. Taking thoughts from visitors over the years they have promised more than ever\, more tanks\, more guns\, more explosions and more unique displays. Something to look forward to is the tug of war! Pitting a Russian OT90 against a British built 432. The aim is for the winner to pull gain the largest section of the car strapped between them. Certainly not something we have seen done before! \nWhats on\nAs always there will be helicopter displays and the chance to fly aboard. This years planned list (Subject to operational commitments) include an RAF Chinook\, a Gazelle\, an Apache Attack Helicopter\, a Seaking to name a few. \nYou will also have the main display area showing reenactment groups locked in battle. Some fantastically inventive displays include the tug of war\, car crushing\, naval guns being fired. It really is a high volume weekend! \nOn site you will find free parking and a wide selection of food outlets\, public camping\, a lost child point (hopefully not required!) and a constant show commentary. \nEvery year the militaria fair field grows with more and more dealers\, collectors and traders alike deciding to have a stand. DESCRIPTION:The Bourse Militaire in Wavre is a long-standing show in Belgium.\nOperating on the first Saturday of each month\, this regular show hosts a wide selection of WW1 and WW2 memorabilia. At the show you will always find a fantastic range of medals\, uniforms\, helmets\, relics\, badges\, vehicle parts and much more. The sale of weapons and ammunition is strictly regulated so please do your research on what local laws permit. \nTo book a table\, you will need to purchase a membership for €30 a year\, and then tables are €20 each (or €100 for the year if you want to sell at multiple bourses). The show is open to the public from 7am until 12pm (noon) and entry is FREE for visitors. It is strictly a militaria fair\, no flea market-type antiques are allowed to be sold. DESCRIPTION:A well-established militaria fair\, the Penkridge Military Fair returned in 2022 after it was unfortunately cancelled for a few years due to the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns. Elephant Promotions (3 Elephants Antiques) has taken over organising this fair and they have 4 fair dates confirmed for 2023. \nEntry is only £2 and free for under 16 year olds. If you’re a reenactor wearing period clothes\, or you have a military vehicle with you\, entry is also free. There is a prize for the best vehicle and crew as well. \nAs for traders\, there are several options for stalls ranging from £10 to £45. If you just want a 12ft space outside\, it is £10. Outside\, but under cover it’s £15 for an 8ft space. Neither of these options come with tables so if you require them\, you need to bring your own. For the indoor pitches\, a 6ft table is £25 and a double (12ft) space is £45. Operated by Susan Wright from Norfolk Fairs\, this well established show has been running for over 10 years. \nThe show has easy access off the A11 and just on the Suffolk / Norfolk border so is easy to access from North London or Southern Yorkshire. Across the stalls you will find a wide array of militaria from badges\, medals and uniforms through to ordinance\, deactivated weapons and general equipment. SUMMARY:Wartime in the Vale
DESCRIPTION:Wartime in the Vale is held at the Ashdown WW2 Camp\nAt Wartime in the Vale you will get a great mix of WW1 & WW2 displays. Starting with dioramas put together by reenactors and enthusiasts. You can then browse a large selection of military vehicles of varying shapes and sizes whilst watching a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flyover overhead. It really is a fantastic weekend out. \nWhats on\nNormally in attendance are over 500 military vehicles\, 60+ traders selling varying items of militaria\, vintage clothing\, uniforms\, vehicle parts and much more. Of course you also have the Ashdown Camp WW2 encampment museum next-door. There is an extensive list of vehicles and reenactor groups in attendance at each show so you will be spoilt for choice. \nIf you should chose to\, you can even camp on site for the entire weekend. This requires an advance booking\, but means you can get into the thick of the event all across the weekend.
