SUMMARY:Penkridge Military Fair
DESCRIPTION:A well-established militaria fair\, the Penkridge Military Fair returned in 2022 after it was unfortunately cancelled for a few years due to the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns. Elephant Promotions (3 Elephants Antiques) has taken over organising this fair and they have 4 fair dates confirmed for 2023. \nEntry is only £2 and free for under 16 year olds. If you’re a reenactor wearing period clothes\, or you have a military vehicle with you\, entry is also free. There is a prize for the best vehicle and crew as well. \nAs for traders\, there are several options for stalls ranging from £10 to £45. If you just want a 12ft space outside\, it is £10. Outside\, but under cover it’s £15 for an 8ft space. Neither of these options come with tables so if you require them\, you need to bring your own. For the indoor pitches\, a 6ft table is £25 and a double (12ft) space is £45. At the show you will always find a fantastic range of medals\, uniforms\, helmets\, relics\, badges\, vehicle parts and much more. The sale of weapons and ammunition is strictly regulated so please do your research on what local laws permit. \nTo book a table\, you will need to purchase a membership for €30 a year\, and then tables are €20 each (or €100 for the year if you want to sell at multiple bourses). The show is open to the public from 7am until 12pm (noon) and entry is FREE for visitors. It is strictly a militaria fair\, no flea market-type antiques are allowed to be sold. Taking place in the Saint Ambrose Parish Centre\, it is organised by C&L Fairs\, who also organise an auction on the first Monday of the month in the same venue. This runs under the name Wyre Forest Auctions. \nTrader set up is at 7.30am and public entry is at 9.00am. Entry fee is £2 and for under 15s it’s free. As for traders\, a 6ft table costs £15 and a 12ft one is £25. SUMMARY:Royal Berkshire Militaria Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Royal Berkshire Militaria Fair was a new one for 2022 but they are going strong in 2023 with a good few dates for your calendar. This is a regular recurring fair\, so if you live nearby\, this is definitely one for your calendar. Held in Sindlesham Court. The fair itself is indoors\, with heating – which is very convenient for the colder winter months – as well as great lighting to see and examine the finer items for sale. The hall has a disabled entrance\, as well as toilet facilities. And there is enough parking for 200 cars. \nTraders will be supplied tables as well as up to 2 chairs. A 6ft space costs £45 but if you book 4 or more\, the price comes down to £40 each. Dealer set up starts at 7am\, with doors open to the public at 9am and the fair ends at 1pm. \nEntry fees start at £6 for the keen collector entrance at 9am. From 10am onwards the price is £4. (Under 14s go in for free.)
