We can only apologise for the delay in posting this post. Sadly some of the members of our small team have been in hospital this past week unexpectedly. But hopefully it is still in time for you to have a browse at what militaria shows are on this weekend (9/12/22). As always, please do get out there and support your local fair and do it as safely as possible with all the new winter bugs and illnesses going around!
With only 2 weekends left before Christmas, this weekend’s and next weekend’s militaria shows are excellent last-minute opportunities to pick up some unique presents for the militaria enthusiast or reenactor in your life. So without further delay, here are the militaria shows that are happening this weekend (9/12/22) around the world.
Canada – Toronto Military Show (Etobicoke)
The Toronto Military Show is split across 2 venues throughout the year (Oshawa and Etobicoke) so please check carefully which event is on at any given time. We have the 2 venues listed as being 2 different event locations.
At each event you will find over 100 stalls offering a wide selection of military collectables from daggers and bayonets through to uniforms, badges buttons and medals. A great all around morning out for any collector.

UK – Chatham Militaria Fair
Chatham Militaria Fair is a UK show recurring on the second Sunday of every month at Chatham Historic Dockyards (with some occasional exceptions). The event is held on Slip No.5 of the historic dockyard at Chatham and is currently the only undercover monthly fair solely for militaria sale in the UK. There’s 36.000 square feet of space for dealers, meaning the show often brings a large selection. Thanks to being under cover, the show is never cancelled due to wind or rain. However, with it being on the docks, it does get cold so definitely pack a warm coat!
Traders can enter from 5:30am and the public from 7am with the show closing at 2pm.
For traders this is a great show, no need to book a table. Just show up in your vehicle between 5:30 and 7am, pay £60 as you enter and off you go!

UK – Durham Medal & Militaria Fair
The Durham Medal & Militaria Fair takes place around every 2 months at Bowborn Community Centre in County Durham and is organised by The Medal Centre. With over 40 dealers on average offering a wide selection of medals, military, helmets, uniforms, documents, WW1/WW2 and much much more. There’s few areas of militaria not covered.
Most dealers in attendance have a speciality of their own who would be more than happy to make offers and value items you may have. The doors are open 8:30am – 1pm and entry is £2 per person.

UK – Wolverley Militaria Fair
The Wolverley Militaria Fair is a self-proclaimed “proper old-school militaria fair”. A local fair, the Wolverley Militaria Fair is very truly old school. A small local venue with regular collectors and dealers who love to enjoy the famous Wolverley bacon butty.
Held in the local memorial hall each month; however, there is a summer break in July and August. Stalls are listed at an affordable price of £15 to make it easy for a collector to go along and sell off a few pieces.
Near to Kidderminster, this is a fairly central show for anyone in western England or Wales to get to.
Admission fee
Adults £2 – Children under 16 free.

France – Bourse Militaire
In France, there are countless carboot sales every weekend and some of these are specifically for militaria. There is one such fair this weekend in Anse which is not far from Lyon.
Belgium – Kortrijk Militaria
Kortrijk Militaria is organised by Gent Militaria and Dipro Events in Belgium, the same people who organise the Antwerp Militaria Show, also in Belgium.
This show is quite large, with 4,000 square metres of space and over 150 stalls. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and there is a hotel on site, as well as ample parking. Opening times are 10am until 4pm but you can gain access at 9am with a VIP ticket.
At Militaria Today we have compiled the world’s most extensive militaria fairs and events list. We strive to be as accurate as we can. However, all events are subject to change, so we recommend checking with the event organisers before travelling, in case of any last-minute changes. We cover a worldwide market, so it can be hard to keep up with last-minute amendments.
Know of a show that’s not on our list?
Our fairs list is completely free for all users and show organisers! So if you know of a militaria fair, show, military yard/boot sale, reenactment or other event that is not on our list, just get in touch and we will happily add it to our list and promote the event on our social media. Please send any submissions via our contact us page. We want to build the most complete worldwide list available.
