We apologise for not doing our weekly events list for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately we’ve been having some technical issues on the website but rest assured, these have now been sorted! So back to normal; every Thursday we compile a list of the upcoming militaria shows worldwide.
With this Friday (11/11/22) being Remembrance Day and Sunday being Remembrance Sunday, there are tons of events on this weekend; some to commemorate Remembrance Day, some merely coinciding with it. Either way, it is a busy weekend, so let’s have a look at what’s on worldwide! As always, get out and support your local show if there’s one near you. There is nothing better than handling militaria in person, and shows are the best place to do this. And don’t forget to wear your poppy!

UK – Stourbridge Military Vehicle Parade
The Stourbridge Military Vehicle Parade is a new event for this year in support of the Royal British Legion. Although for many years Stourbridge had a vehicle display, sadly due to Covid this could no longer continue. And now it’s making an excellent-looking comeback with not only a military vehicle display but also a parade through Stourbridge town centre.
The parade will start at the Chequers Inn on the High Street and finish at the Bonded Warehouse on Canal Street after being led by the Shirley Pipe Band. Here, from around 12pm, noon, you can also view all the vehicles at a static display, as well as donate to the Royal British Legion.

UK – Scotch Corner Militaria Fair
The show at Scotch Corner is operated by Northern Arms Fairs in Northern England and has a wide selection of dealers to browse. Showing items from all historical eras, you won’t struggle to find an interesting item or two. Northern Arms Fairs have been running military collectors shows since 1978 and as such, operate shows across the North in Liverpool, Scotch Corner, Newark and Leeds, so there’s rarely a month without a show. Collectors and the public are actively encouraged to take any items they wish to sell or trade.
The Scotch Corner venue is very easy to find as it is hosted at the Holiday Inn directly off the A1 and permanently sign posted. If you need to use a satnav, either use our google connect button at the bottom of your screen or input DL10 6NR for directions.

UK – Stockport Arms, Armour and Militaria Fair
Having originally started back in 1966, the local community of militaria and antique weapons collectors have come to rely on the Stockport Arms, Armour & Militaria Fair. It has moved venues a few times over the years; however, it is now organised in the Stockport Masonic Guildhall.
Due to the success of the show in Stockport, the organisers (Stockport Militaria Collectors Society) are able to help support the Broughton House, Salford which is a home for disabled servicemen, Cancer Research UK and the Royal British Legion.
Anyone living in the North West should give this show a visit this Saturday.

UK – Chatham Militaria Fair
The event is held on Slip No.5 of the historic dockyard at Chatham and is currently the only undercover monthly fair solely for militaria sale in the UK. There’s 36.000 square feet of space for dealers, meaning the show often brings a large selection. Thanks to being under cover, the show is never cancelled due to wind or rain.
Traders can enter from 5:30am and the public from 7am with the show closing at 2pm.
For traders this is a great show, no need to book a table. Just show up in your vehicle between 5:30 and 7am, pay £60 as you enter and off you go!

France – Bourse Militaire
In France there are countless car boot sales every weekend, particularly on Sundays. Some of these events are specifically militaria related. There is one this weekend in Sens in the Yonne region in Northern Central France.
Spain – No Solo Militaria
For such a large country, Spain doesn’t seem to have too many militaria fairs. However, there is one which is definitely worth mentioning, especially since it’s on this weekend! No sólo ‘MILITARIA’ in Madrid is a large militaria fair and reenactment event. With no specific area of dedication, you will find a real mix of military items on sale. From complete sets of medieval armour to modern airsoft replicas. This show has it all.
Having now run over 50 events, the show has continued to grow and grow and is now using more than 4,000 square metres of the exhibition hall. You will find all facilities on site including toilets, food stalls and general refreshments. Access to public transport is also very good, making it an ideal location for such an event.
Czechia – Militaria Brno
Militaria Brno is the largest event of its kind in Czechia. In fact, it is advertised as the largest one in Central Europe. It is a bold claim, but with 9,000 square meters of space and 1,000 stall holders, it is not an unlikely claim at all! The event caters for collectors of both modern and antique/historical military items, including armour, equipment and medals.
At Militaria Today we have compiled the world’s most extensive militaria fairs and events list. We strive to be as accurate as we can. However, all events are subject to change, so we recommend checking with the event organisers before travelling, in case of any last-minute changes. We cover a worldwide market, so it can be hard to keep up with last-minute amendments.
Know of a show that’s not on our list?
Our fairs list is completely free for all users and show organisers! So if you know of a militaria fair, show, car boot sale, reenactment or other event that is not on our list, just get in touch and we will happily add it to our list and promote the event on our social media. Please send any submissions via our contact us page. We want to build the most complete worldwide list available.
