Militaria Shows This Weekend 10/2/23

Each Thursday we compile a list of all the militaria shows and events happening over the weekend. This weekend (10/2/23) we have a good few fairs going on around the world, including the UK, US and the Netherlands. We have also decided to include next weekend’s events, since there are only two that weekend. So as always, please go and support your local fairs. They are the absolute best way to see and handle militaria in person, to meet new people in the collecting world, and of course to find bargains!

USA, KS – Leavenworth Militaria Show

The Leavenworth Militaria Show is a small local show in Kansas. After a number of different venues, this year the show will be held in the Riverfront Community Center in Leavenworth. This small, local show is for militaria only, so you won’t find other antique items here. However, all time periods are welcome, from the Civil War through the world wars all the way to Vietnam and then more modern periods.

Dealer tables are $25 each and members of the public can enter for a $3 donation. Doors open at 9am and the show ends at 3pm.

You can contact the show organisers for more information on 785-221-4263 or via their Facebook page.

USA, PA – Allentown Gun and Militaria Show

The Allentown Gun and Militaria Show is a Pennsylvania collector’s fair in the USA. As with any military collector’s show, you will find a nice range of items available for sale and trade from a good range of time periods. The show organisers are dedicated to preserving these historic items. So go along to meet like-minded people and enjoy a day out. Entry price is $8 but children under 15 are free. The show opens at 9am both days, but Saturday it closes at 5pm, whereas Sunday it’s only on until 2pm.

Please note – All local, state and federal laws must be followed at all times.

There’s 36.000 square feet of space for dealers, meaning the show often brings a large selection. Thanks to being under cover, the show is never cancelled due to wind or rain.

Traders can enter from 5:30am and the public from 7am with the show closing at 2pm.

For traders this is a great show, no need to book a table. Just show up in your vehicle between 5:30 and 7am, pay £60 as you enter and off you go!

At Militaria Today we have compiled the world’s most extensive militaria fairs and events list. We strive to be as accurate as we can. However, all events are subject to change, so we recommend checking with the event organisers before travelling, in case of any last-minute changes. We cover a worldwide market, so it can be hard to keep up with last-minute amendments.

Know of a show that’s not on our list?

Our fairs list is completely free for all users and show organisers! So if you know of a militaria fair, show, military yard/boot sale, reenactment or other event that is not on our list, just get in touch and we will happily add it to our list and promote the event on our social media. Please send any submissions via our contact us page. We want to build the most complete worldwide list available.
