Every Thursday we bring you the list of all the militaria fairs and events that are happening over the upcoming weekend, all over the world. With Christmas approaching, there are fewer and fewer shows on, but there are still a few you can visit, as 2022 is coming to an end. Due to there not being as many shows for the rest of this month, we have decided to gather all the ones left this year, so you can plan your Christmas break accordingly as well. This weekend (16/12/22) there are 2 militaria shows in the UK and one Luxembourg. Then between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, there is one in the Netherlands and one in the UK.
UK – Leeds
The Leeds Arms & Militaria Fair is organised by Northern Arms Fairs and this is the last event of the year for them. However, they have now announced their 2023 dates so you can start planning your year ahead. They organise fairs in Leeds, Newark, Liverpool and Scotch Corner. The Leeds fair is held regularly at the Pudsey Civic Hall just off the main road between Leeds and the Bradford ring road.
Only 2.5 miles from the centre of Leeds and opposite the new Pudsey railway station, so the fair has great access. Lots of free parking plus all day refreshments and a licensed bar.
A long standing staple show for northern dealers, you will always fine a wide selection of interesting items available. Free valuations are never a problem at all from these passionate sellers and as such, the public are encouraged to bring along any item they would like valuing or want to sell.
UK – Chelmsford
Chelmsford Militaria Fair is operated my the same team as Chatham dockyard and Militaria Odyssey, so you know you are in good hands. This local UK show in Essex is back operating after a few year hiatus.
On the day you will find a nice mix of items from across most periods. Medals, equipment, hats, helmets, uniforms, relics and much more. The venue has ample parking and refreshments available throughout the show. Easy access from most of the east or from London direction via the A12.
Please note that the satnav may direct you to the wrong end of the school. The car park is off Oliver Road (The next road down if you are heading from the A12)

Luxembourg – Walferdange Bourse Militaire
Organised by the Quadriga (Luxembourg Historic Military Vehicle Collectors), this is the 6th time the Walferdange Militaria Show is being held. Entry is free so you can’t lose by popping in if you’re in the area. The fair is on from 10am until 5pm.
UK – Copdock Medal & Militaria Fair
Moving on from this weekend, between Christmas and New Year the Copdock militaria fair will be on. The Copdock Medal & Militaria Fair is a smaller, local fair in the Copdock Community Hall, in Copdock between Ipswich and Colchester, not far from the A12. It tends to be twice a year, once in October and once in December, close to Christmas.
Doors open at 9.30am and the fair lasts until 2pm. Entry is only £3 with under 16s able to attend for free.

2023
Although not in 2022, we wanted to include this next two fairs, with them being the first ones of the new year. Since they are on midweek, we wanted to make sure they don’t get missed if we don’t do another fair roundup until the first full weekend in January.
UK – New Forest Militaria Fair
The New Forest Militaria Fair is a monthly military show in Hampshire.
The fair is held on the first Wednesday of the month, every month (bar the odd exception). A great local collectors’ fair held in the Colbury Church rooms from 6pm – 9pm. With a few regular local dealers and always a new collector or two selling, it always makes for a nice evening out in the New Forest.
Fancy selling a few items? Tables are only £6 for the evening with outdoor pitches available, weather permitting. Plus the added bonus of refreshments throughout. Entry is only £1 per adult and children are free.

US – 1st Wednesday Gun / Military Swap & Sale
As the name suggest, the 1st Wednesday Gun / Military Swap & Sale is held on the 1st Wednesday of each month in Newburgh, Indiana. On paper it is a members-only event; however, becoming a member is only $15 a year and well worth it to visit the shows regularly. With your membership you will receive a discount on entry to all of the collectors club’s events, plus discounts on having a table at the larger military & gun shows.
Entry to the 1st Wednesday Gun / Military Swap & Sale is free with membership.

This concludes our last militaria show list of 2022. Our team at MilitariaToday would like to thank everyone for the support we have received from the militaria collecting community as we started this website a few months ago. We have some big plans for 2023 so make sure to keep checking our website, and follow our Facebook page!
At Militaria Today we have compiled the world’s most extensive militaria fairs and events list. We strive to be as accurate as we can. However, all events are subject to change, so we recommend checking with the event organisers before travelling, in case of any last-minute changes. We cover a worldwide market, so it can be hard to keep up with last-minute amendments.
Know of a show that’s not on our list?
Our fairs list is completely free for all users and show organisers! So if you know of a militaria fair, show, military yard/boot sale, reenactment or other event that is not on our list, just get in touch and we will happily add it to our list and promote the event on our social media. Please send any submissions via our contact us page. We want to build the most complete worldwide list available.
