Every Thursday we compile a list of the upcoming militaria shows worldwide. Very busy weekend (23/09/22) with a whopping 20 militaria fairs all over the world – including one of the only shows in Eastern Asia that we have found. The UK, the USA, Australia and a few countries in Europe are all quite busy. Now let’s have a look at everything that’s on this weekend.
Germany – WSBG International
One of the few fairs in Germany, the WSBG International is organised a few times a year and is held in Halle (Saale) near Leipzig. It is on Thursday to Sunday so it’s a decent, long show but the Sunday is a bit shorter with it closing at 2pm instead of 6pm like on the other three days. But this is reflected in the admission price, which is cheaper on Sunday – and for ladies, it is actually free that day!

USA, PA – Redball Fall Military Show & Swap Meet
Organised by the Redball Military Transport Club, this show offers over 350 traders looking to buy and sell military collectables, be that military vehicle parts or a badge, you should be able to find it all. On site there will be living history displays throughout the weekend, as well as military vehicle rides and a nice selection of food trucks.

USA, PA – Redding Auction Hall Gun & Militaria Show
The Redding Auction Hall Gun & Militaria Show is held at Redding Auction Hall and is hosted by the Central Penn Atique Arms Association. On site you will find a nice selection of antique, modern & military firearms as well as militaria from all periods of history. With 120 tables in the room, this is a great show to attend.

USA, AL – Alabama Military Collectors Association Annual Show
A 2-day show, this is a fantastic show to visit for anyone in Alabama. It is open on the Friday and Saturday to the public and you will find a wide selection of military collectables on sale.

USA, CA – The BAM Show
Sadly there isn’t a lot of information about this show online that we could find, but the BAM Show or “BAY AREA MILITARIA” is a dedicated military and militaria collectables show in California.

USA, CA – SOCALMICS Bellflower Regional ASMIC Meet
The Souther California Military Insignia Collector’s Society – For the Perpetual Honour of Military Service & Heraldry. The SOCALMICS swap meet takes place on the last Sunday of each month barring December.

USA, IL – Chicago Civil War & Military Show
The show specialises in US Civil war, Revolutionary wars & Spanish American War items. On site you will find a fantastic array of original and reenactment pieces ideal for all. With many amazing events throughout the day including cannons firing, it really is a great family day out.

USA, MA – Marlboro Militaria Firearm & Knife Show
Although billed as a gun and knife show, the Marlboro Militaria Firearm & Knife Show does host a lot of militaria dealers and as the show has hundreds of tables to browse, you will not be short of interesting items to browse!

USA, TX – HGCA Gun & Military Show (Humble)
The HGCA Gun & Military Show (Humble) is a Texas militaria collectors fair organised by the Houston Gun Collectors Association. Featuring a large selection of items from Indian artefacts through to modern military vehicle parts, you will always find a great selection of items.

ITALY – Militaria alla Torre
If you live or travel through Italy, Militaria alla Torre is an unmissable event in your calendar. Operating now since 1975, this fair has grown from strength to strength.

Canada – The Toronto Military Show at Etobicoke
The Toronto Military Show is split across 2 venues throughout the year (Oshawa and Etobicoke) so please check carefully which event is on at any given time. We have the 2 venues listed as being 2 different event locations.
At each event you will find over 100 stalls offering a wide selection of military collectables from daggers and bayonets through to uniforms, badges buttons and medals. A great all around morning out for any collector.

Australia – The Hunter Valley Arms Fair
At this 2 day event you will find a great mix of items for sale, including but not limited to – antique firearms, coins, medals, hunting gear, hats, helmets and much more. You will have over 50 trade and display tables to browse. So there will always be interesting items to view.

United Kingdom – London Antique Arms Fair
The London Antique Arms Fair has a new home in 2022 at RAF Hendon. Hendon is most famous for its participation in the Battle of Britain.
Held at the RAF Museum London, it’s easy to couple visiting the show with a day out at the museum. With galleries exploring the first 100 years of the RAF theres something for everyone in the museum.

United Kingdom – The SMS Militaria Fair is a south coast UK monthly fair.
Held on the last Sunday of each month, the SMS Militaria Fair is a local opportunity to buy and sell medals, memorabilia, badges and more. Sovereign Military Supplies (SMS) are a group of militaria enthusiasts and collectors who buy and sell once a month. Covering any period from Napoleon through to modern items or the US civil war. They always have a nice selection on display.
If you have items to sell yourself, a 6 foot table is only £10 (This must be booked and paid in advance) All are welcome to come along!

United Kingdom – Wirral Militaria Fair
The Wirral Militaria Fair is quite a new one. Organised by Fortress Militaria, it is held a few times a year in the Leasowe Castle Hotel in Wirral. They have recently opened up a second room and around 70 stall holders are expected, selling all sorts of militaria.

United Kingdom – Chelmsford Militaria Fair
Chelmsford Militaria Fair is operated my the same team as Chatham dockyard and Militaria Odyssey, so you know you are in good hands. This local UK show in Essex is back operating after a few year hiatus.
On the day you will find a nice mix of items from across most periods. Medals, equipment, hats, helmets, uniforms, relics and much more. The venue has ample parking and refreshments available throughout the show. Easy access from most of the east or from London direction via the A12.
Please note that the satnav may direct you to the wrong end of the school. The car park is off Oliver Road (The next road down if you are heading from the A12)

Denmark – Militaria Collectors Meeting – Jutland
Organised by the Dansk Militaria Foreign (DMF) These events are officially members only. It is possible to become a member via the website.
The meetings are an opportunity for private collectors to show, sell and exchange their militaria items, medals and historical literature.

Japan – Tokyo Victory Show
The Tokyo Victory Show is one of Japan’s best Militaria collectors fairs.
Drawing in traders from the US and all across Asia, the Tokyo Victory Show is a fantastic opportunity to buy, sell and trade your military collectable items. On site you will find over 200 dealer in attendance at each show. Normally the show is held 4 times a year.
