Willys MB USMC Holden Ambulance Jeep
Produced on the 8th of October in 1944 this Jeep has a running wartime engine which sounds sweet and has great oil pressure but required a starter motor and a few bits of wire plus our test fuel feed to get running which are not included. We have not driven it due to having no brakes so the rest of the war time running gear including the T84 has no been tested. The body is in need of quite a lot of work but could be saved with some time. it is a very original jeep that looks like it was used in military service for a long time.

A brief history of this rare vehicle
The Willys MB USMC Holden Ambulance Jeep was a version of the Willys MB Jeep that was modified to serve as an ambulance for the United States Marine Corps during World War II. It was based on the standard Willys MB Jeep, which was a light, 4-wheel-drive vehicle that was used for a variety of roles during the war.
The Willys MB USMC Holden Ambulance Jeep was modified with a stretcher rack and an ambulance body that was designed to carry wounded soldiers. The ambulance body was manufactured by Holden, an Australian company, and was modified to meet the specifications of the US Marine Corps. The ambulance body had windows on the sides and rear to provide ventilation and lighting, and it was equipped with a heater for cold weather operations.
The Willys MB USMC Holden Ambulance Jeep was powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 60 horsepower. It had a top speed of around 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) and a range of approximately 300 miles (480 kilometers). The ambulance body reduced the cargo capacity of the vehicle, but it still had enough space to carry medical supplies and equipment.
During World War II, the Willys MB USMC Holden Ambulance Jeep was used to transport wounded soldiers from the front lines to field hospitals. It was used in many theaters of war, including the Pacific and Europe, and it played an important role in the medical support of the US Marine Corps.
Today, the Willys MB USMC Holden Ambulance Jeep is a rare and highly sought-after vehicle by military vehicle collectors and enthusiasts. Only a small number of these vehicles were built, and many of them were destroyed during the war or scrapped after the war. However, a few examples have survived and are preserved in museums and private collections.
