Every Thursday we compile a list of the upcoming militaria shows worldwide. While not a hugely busy weekend this weekend (21/10/22) we do have a selection of military shows worldwide, including one of the biggest militaria fairs in the UK, Malvern! So as always, get out and support your local show if there’s one near you this weekend. There is nothing better than handling militaria in person and shows are the best place to do this.
United Kingdom – Malvern Militaria Fair
One of the UK’s largest and most popular militaria fairs is the Malvern Militaria Fair. It is organised by Amanda and Graham at MilitariaShows.com – who also organise Stoneleigh in January.
The Malvern fair is one of the staples of your calendar. Being one of the longest-standing fairs it the UK, it takes place twice a year in Malvern, at the Three Counties Show Ground in Worcestershire, one in the fall (October/November normally) and then one in March. It boasts around 250x 10ft stalls and is always very busy with visitors. The fair opens on the Sunday at 9am for the public and closes at 3pm.

Sweden – Gothenburg Military Fair
Sweden has a surprising number of military fairs. Just in October there has been one every weekend so far! This Sunday’s one is the Gothenburg (Göteburg) fair in Kviberg, Göteburg. It has a lot of positive reviews online so it’s bound to be a decent fair.

Italy – Militalia
Militalia is one of the largest shows in Italy. Held in Milan in the Lombardy region, this fair has been on for over 30 years. Held twice a year, this weekend’s event is actually the 70th show they have had! Big anniversary and it is bound to be a special one. Held over 2 days, the prices are sensible especially if you book your tickets in advance online.

France – Bourse Militaire
All over France there are many carboot sales every weekend – some of which are military collectible specific. One of these is on this weekend, in Benfeld, close to the German and the Swiss borders.
Unites States, KY – Kilroy Victory Military Vehicle Show & Swap Meet
Hopefully the first of many, the First Annual Kilroy Victory Military Vehicle Show & Swap Meet in 2022 will bring together military collectors and military vehicle collectors from all across Kentucky. On sale will be vehicle parts & accessories alongside a wide selection of militaria and firearms (All firearms must be secure and unable to fire. All local, state and federal laws must be followed)

United States, TX – Alamo City Militaria Expo
The Alamo City Militaria Expo is a bi-annual Texas militaria collectors fair, dedicated to military antiques alone. They have over 100 tables with nothing but military collectable items and memorabilia covering a wide selection of wars and countries.
The show has operated since 2012 and has become a place for veterans, collectors, historians and the like to come together, trade, buy, sell and swap stories. Aimed at being a family friendly event, the Alamo City Militaria Expo welcomes all generations to explore the amazing items on sale and take a dive into the history in the room.

United States, PA – Fort Indiantown Gap Insignia Swapmeet
The Fort Indiantown Gap Insignia Swapmeet is a badge and insignia fair with a great mix of military patches available. It is on from 9am until 12pm on Saturday and is held several times a year.
Unites States, OR – Kliever Armoury Show
Held several times a year, this show is on Friday and Saturday in Portland, Oregon.
Unites States, OH – North Coast Military Collectors Show
As with any military collectors show you will find a nice range of periods and items available for sale and trade. The show has over 300 tables full of interesting military items for sale, field gear, insignia, weapons, uniforms and much more. On site you have the chance to meet some incredible special guests at each show. Held at the MAPS Air Museum and you will receive free entry to the museum with entry to the show.
