Switzerland – Lucerne Trade Fair (Waffenboerse Luzern)
The Lucerne Trade Fair is a weapons market primarily, however they also have stalls for militaria, knives, deactivated weapons and lots of mixed items of collectable interest.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – Resolve permits for the purchase of weapons on the stock exchange:
The Lucerne police are present during the stock exchange with a stand at the entrance to Hall 3. Citizens residing in the canton of Lucerne and foreign nationals with corresponding weapons ownership can have a weapons purchase certificate issued on the stock exchange after proof of a valid Swiss criminal record extract (not older than 3 months) and passport/ID. In order for the Lucerne police to be able to differentiate between the usual purchase certificate (WES, CHF 50.-) and an “exception permit small” (AB small, CHF 50.-) – for newly banned weapons – required for collectors or sports shooters, the exact indication of the type of weapon on the applications is absolutely necessary. All other visitors must bring a valid permit (WES/AB small) from the competent cantonal authorities of their canton of residence.

At Militaria Today we have compiled the world’s most extensive militaria fairs and events list. We strive to be as accurate as we can. However, all events are subject to change, so we recommend checking with the event organisers before travelling, in case of any last-minute changes. We cover a worldwide market, so it can be hard to keep up with last-minute amendments.
Know of a show that’s not on our list?
Our fairs list is completely free for all users and show organisers! So if you know of a militaria fair, show, military yard/boot sale, reenactment or other event that is not on our list, just get in touch and we will happily add it to our list and promote the event on our social media. Please send any submissions via our contact us page. We want to build the most complete worldwide list available.
